Summary Of Duties

The production associate is responsible for daily production duties of in-house manufacturing. This person will work with the production manager and other associates to meet production needs and schedules. The associate will be, in part, responsible for the care and maintenance of the production equipment and facility. This associate will report to the Production Shift Supervisor and Plant Manager.

Required Competencies
  • Machines and equipment: Proficient with powered manufacturing equipment and material handling systems to produce finished goods in bulk.
  • Warehouse operations: Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with the ability to learn the operation of equipment, learn shipping and receiving procedures, and handling of finished goods.
  • Active Listening: Follow verbal and written instructions, ask questions when appropriate.
  • Physical Strength: Able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively, stand, and undergo continuous bending
    and reaching for periods up to 10hrs/day.
  • Safety: Ensure the physical safety of oneself and one’s co-workers at all times. Follow all safety-
    related guidelines and instructions given by supervisors and coworkers to safely operate and
    clean machines.
  • Computer Software: Ability to operate windows based PC and Microsoft applications (i.e. Word,
    Excel, Google, etc.)
  • Attendance: Must have reliable transportation and be able to work for all assigned shifts
Preferred Competencies
  • Concrete material production: Concrete and or masonry construction experience is a plus.
  • Warehouse Management: Warehouse organization/management a plus.
  • Dried Materials Bagging: Experience with bulk bagging of dried materials is a plus.

Summary Of Duties

The working production shift supervisor is responsible for daily operations of in-house production. This person will work with the Plant Manager to schedule, organize, and work with the labor force to meet production needs and schedules. The shift supervisor will be responsible for the care and maintenance of the production equipment and facility while leading the shift. This shift supervisor will report to the Plant Manager.

Required Competencies
  • Machines and equipment: Proficient with powered manufacturing equipment and material handling systems to produce finished goods in bulk.
  • Personnel Management: Proven ability to lead a labor force with limited supervision during secondary shifts. This may include second shift or weekends.
  • Process Handling: Experience with shipping, receiving, and finished goods organization.
  • Active Listening: Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and ask questions when appropriate.
  • Physical Strength: Able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively, stand, and undergo continuous bending and reaching for periods up to 12hrs/day.
  • Safety: Ensure the physical safety of oneself and one’s co-workers at all times. Follow all safety related guidelines and instructions given by supervisors and coworkers to safely operate and clean machines.
  • Computer Software: Ability to operate Mac IOS computer and Google suite applications (i.e. Google Docs, Gmail, Sheets, etc.)
  • Attendance: Must have reliable transportation and be able to work secondary shifts which may include nights or weekends.
Preferred Competencies
  • Concrete material production: Concrete and or masonry construction experience is a plus.
  • Dried Materials Bagging: Experience with bulk bagging of dried materials preferred.

Summary Of Duties

The Biotechnology Process Scientist will be responsible for carrying out research and development projects related to the biomineral production process that Prometheus Materials has developed. This includes researching, developing, implementing, and troubleshooting chemical inputs, conditions, and outputs for the process. Research will be hands-on and will rely on a strong understanding of chemistry and biochemistry fundamentals. The scope of this work will range from laboratory to pilot scale. The Biotechnology Process Scientist will report to the Director of Biotechnology.

Required Competencies
  • Education: Ph.D. degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or related field with 2+ years of industrial/start-up company work experience; M.S. degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or related field with 7+ years of industrial/start-up company work experience. 
  • Independent, Active, and Results Oriented Work Style: Must be comfortable working independently without day-to-day instruction and actively in environments that require technical research one day, troubleshooting the next, and equipment maintenance/repair another. 
  • Microbial Cell Cultivation: Demonstrated understanding or familiarity with microalgae or other cell cultivation methods in laboratory and/or pilot scale settings.
  • Chemistry/Biochemistry: Strong understanding of reaction mechanisms, analytical method development and testing for particle size and morphology, and optimization of chemical processes. 
  • Bioprocess Development: Demonstrated ability to take on new or existing bioprocesses and implement design changes or improvements to increase efficiency/yield and decrease costs. 
  • Research and Development: Experience in R&D settings including independent project management and documentation of experimental results in laboratory notebooks, research presentations, and reports. 
  • Active Listening and Communication: Follow verbal and written instructions, ask questions when appropriate, and communicate results in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
  • Physical Strength: Able to lift up to 50 pounds and repetitively or continuously sit, stand, bend, or reach for periods of up to 10 hours per day.
  • Safety: Ensure the physical safety of oneself and one’s co-workers at all times. Follow all safety-related guidelines and instructions given by supervisors and co-workers to safely operate and clean equipment.
  • Computer Software: Ability to operate Windows or Mac based PC systems as well as Microsoft and GSuite applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
Qualifications
  • Lean: Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices including 5s, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Sourcing: General knowledge with material sourcing for production environments.
  • Concrete: Knowledge and/or experience with concrete and masonry construction is a plus.

Summary Of Duties

The Director of Product Development is responsible for directing all processes in the product lifecycle. You will drive and update product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, specification and building code compliance/ testing, roadmap development, and product launch. This position will work closely and collaborate with business development, marketing, research and development, and manufacturing. Additional relationships will be fostered with distributors, vendors, and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Development and align product strategy with business goals 
  • Create products which accomplish synergies with business, technology, user experience, and feasibility
  • Analyze market trends and potential partnerships from a ROI perspective
  • Create, assess, update, and communicate a clear product vision and strategy
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define requirements and product roadmap
  • Development and tracking of the backlog of product(s) and bid activity
  • Successfully plan product launches by collaborating with business development and marketing
  • Forecast and budget management
Qualifications

Successfully deploy a product strategy that embraces low carbon strategies and provides longevity to a robust portfolio of products.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent field
  • Minimum of 5 years of a proven track record for deploying successful product campaigns 
  • Experience within the building materials industry, preferred; sand and gravel, cement, ready mix, or admixtures.
  • Solid understanding of product management tools and processes
  • Strong communication skills – effective communication both written and verbal 
  • Experience with communicating/ collaborating with industry experts (Architects and Engineers)
  • Understanding and/or knowledge of key high-level industry standards relating to cement, concrete, and aggregates
  • Strong understanding of business-to-business sales cycles, strategies, and key metrics
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and reporting
  • Financial and business acumen (budget, forecasting, and pricing strategies)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge or experience with sustainability, LEED, and carbon reduction targets

Summary Of Duties

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting and Administration Associate to join our team. This dual-role position involves supporting our accounting operations while also handling various business administration tasks. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of accounting principles, coupled with strong organizational and administrative skills. The Accounting and Administration Associate will report to the Director of Finance.

Accounting
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and expense reports.
  • Preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Support the preparation of tax filings, audits, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to track and manage budgets.
  • Process biweekly payroll.
Administration
  • Provide administrative support to various departments, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating office activities.
  • Preparation and distribution of internal and external communications, including emails, reports, and presentations.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare related expense reports.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records, files, and documentation.
  • Organize company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Manage HR activities such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting or business administration roles is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and GSuite (Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
